The launch of the Jr A website midway through the 2008 season resulted in some bumps as each club learned the new steps associated with keeping team and player stats up to date. These bumps have been worked out and the Jr A clubs are all committed to keeping stats up-to-date starting with the opening game in 2009.

The Alberta Jr A league currently consists of 2 Calgary and 2 Edmonton teams playing an interlocking schedule with the Alberta Sr B league.
Although the Jr A clubs play regular season games (no playoff games) against the Sr division, the Jr A website (the website you are on) tracks the statistical information for the Jr A clubs only (the Sr division is exploring their own web initiative). For this reason you will not find any stats associated with Sr clubs.
The Eclipse fired everything and the kitchen sink at Sr Miners goalie Matt Sommes in the first period and were rewarded with 2 goals. Sommes made numerous accrobatic saves and had his team in a 2-2 tie after one.
Rumour has it that Okotoks Tourism officials are none to happy about the lack of hospitality shown by the Jr. A Raiders in giving the visiting Jr. Miners a 17-3 thumping on Saturday night.
The Eclipse travelled to Spruce Grove last evening for its second encounter with the Slash at Grant Fuhr Arena. Williams for the Eclipse and Dryburg for the Slash both were on their games between the pipes for much of the evening.
